"Starbucks has lowered its standards in cleanliness, presentation, and morals. I have gone from one location to the other trying to order without there being any issues in the last 2 weeks. I have put in 5 complaints from 3 different locations. Complaints that stem from wiping my drink off with a dirty rag, leaving hair on my cup, taking my drink back from a customer's hand that was taken into his vehicle while I sit in my car behind him, and once at the window was offered the same drink, to making my drink incorrectly and instead of remaking it the employee tries fixing it by adding ingredients through the top of the plastic top."

Starbucks Barista (Current Employee) says"You are expected to memorize 150-200 different drinks within the first week of working. There is always a customer or manager on your a** about every single thing you do. You have to treat customers like they are kings and queens but receive nothing in return. You make customer's food and drinks, serve them like you are their waiter at a high-class restaurant then receive no tip or a "thank you" from them. You are constantly overworked and underpaid. Falsified write ups for employees who challenged her abilities, re-date for too save her waste percentages. Now you may say well that is just a bad manager and she should be reported... You're right and she was several times they company would then have us fill it forms and write about our issue and completely ignore it. All it took for myself to be told either quit or you'll be fired was an ex who claimed I was making his drinks with decaf. The company will never ever have your back no matter what happens. Know this."
Team Member (Former Employee) says"In the 5 months I worked for them, there was no general manage until the final one. Due to the abysmal organization trying to spread too little staff across two sites at once, there was never enough staff. The ideal minimum was 3 staff, and we counted ourselves lucky if there was two. On an alarmingly regular basis one person would be stuck behind the counter for hours at a time, during airport rush hours. It was often utterly impossible to have toilet breaks, lunch breaks or even restock as no one else could watch the store. Training was non-existent, new starters just had to work it out as they go. There was no structured learning approach so no-one knew how much a new colleague actually knew. Hygiene and safety was a real issue: the sinks would clog or equipment would break almost daily. The broken oven was replaced with a sandwich press that slammed down onto a colleagues hand, causing significant burns, but was kept in place despite the injury it caused. Starbucks has a reputation for good training and service as a brand, but this was a nightmare by any standards.Staff drinksoverworked, unsafe, bad organization, horrendous mismanagement"

Do they expect you to butter your bagel and make a mess in your vehicle at the same time as driving? If I was going to do that I would pull up to a deli and get a bagel for half the price and do it myself. This is utterly ridiculous period you get a one rating for that stupidity."
Erin Bowman says"Okay. So, first, I will say that I did already talk to the customer service people for this Starbucks location, and they have taken care of it, the only way they could. Also, I'm talking about only one Starbucks location, that I keep having to go back to, because they have averaged about 2, sometimes even 3 times a month, if not more. The 1 location that this has happened to over and over again, is the Starbucks in Manassas, Virginia, on Sudley Manor drive. For the most part, at all of the other locations in Manassas, Virginia, they're usually pretty good at getting my order right, and they're usually very friendly. But, not at Starbucks in Manassas, Virginia, on Sudley Manor Drive. Not that one. I have never ever had any restaurant at all mess my order up as much as they do. And, when you call, and want them to replace it, because of their incompetence, oh, well, it's your fault. What?, you mean, as much as we mess your order up, and you want it replaced? How dare you, expecting us to replace your order, every time we mess it up, as much as we do. Well, on Friday, August 28th, 2020, at about 8, or 830ish in the morning, that is how I was treated, when I expected this location to remake my order. I was treated like complete crap, by the head manager, Rihanna. Her crew, is a lot more friendly. So, whatever you do, save yourself the money, time, and headache, and don't go to the Starbucks, on Sudley Manor Drive, in Manassas, Virginia. Go to any of the other locations. But, don't go to that one. They seriously need to do some new training with their management team, or at least, that person at that one. The people at all of the other ones are nice, pleasant, and positive people. I don't care, if a place messes my order up every day, then I'm going to expect them to replace it, and to not be so rude about it. Especially, if I'm going to pay $14.20 every time, because I order the same thing every time I go to any Starbucks. So, to all of the other Starbucks in Manassas, Virginia, thank you for 90 percent of the time, not messing my order up, and when you do, which is very rarely, you resolve the problem, and you're very friendly. Thank You so much."

Bill R. - So Cal says"Last year when Starbucks revised their STARS program they said they did it to give us more choices! Ha! & They implemented the new program in 30 days! I had 1,255 Stars or 10 salads (125 per salad) under the old program, which became 6 salads (200 per salad I lost 40% of Star power! Now they have come out with the new cold drink lid to save straws, but the sip hole is so large that the drink spills out in the car if you hit a bump or have to brake! Did they even field test these lids? I think not! The new lids need a baffel under the opening easy to do in a mold! I took a new lid & put a piece of scotch tape across below opening & no more splash! Wake up Starbucks & test your new splash lids! When my loaded app is out I am not going to be a customer any more! By the way I called my local Starbucks & asked them to have the District Manager call me two weeks ago & never heard a word! Also I have turned in suggestions to improve the Mobile Order portion of the app for the last 4 years & nothing has been done to improve it!"
